Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor on WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor in the morning and a reporter at WCBD TV. The stories she reported in Charleston about the police's leniency regarding DUI cases led to a State Law Enforcement Division to examine. It led to state authorities issuing more strict regulations in these cases. Ms. O'Dell was honored by the Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year award for all media in South Carolina. O'Dell was then employed by NBC's Miami-based station WTVJ-TV as an investigative reporter prior to joining Access Hollywood in the role of co-anchor for the weekend. Additionally, she is co-anchor for Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's covered The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Co-hosted The Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
